Aerated Chocolate? Apparently it has made a name for itself in the European markets. When I saw a press release for Bubble Chocolate, I was instantly intrigued. After reading about Bubble Chocolate, I began to long for "a mouth-watering sensation that tickles the tastebuds." I mean, that's what the website touts. I still couldn't imagine what it would be like. I waited impatiently for a few days until my chocolate bars arrived. They were boxed, which is a very nice touch. I unwrapped the milk chocolate bar first, noticing at first how generous it was in size. It's at least twice the size of an ordinary chocolate bar. Breaking off a small piece, I decided to eat it like ordinary chocolate. The flavor was good, but it didn't seem that special. It was pretty dry and lacked the creaminess that I love in milk chocolate. I had to be missing something. I decided to follow the website's guidelines for eating this chocolate because there is a certain way you should eat it. They obviously know best, and after I popped the next piece into my mouth, I was treated to a sensory delight. I let it begin to melt, which didn't take long at all. Then I began to chew as the bubbles softened. The chocolate was very creamy and rich, and unlike any chocolate that I've ever tasted. After a while, I played with different methods. I really loved pressing a piece between my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Do this, and you'll be treated to an unusual but pleasant snap, crackle, and pop. It is almost like carbonated chocolate and it's very addicting. I also tried the dark chocolate bar in the same way. I preferred the taste of the milk chocolate Bubble Chocolate. Bubble Chocolate retails for about $2.50 per bar. You can get awesome deals on automatic shipments if you order from their site. They are now available in a few stores across the US. I would recommend trying them if you want to treat yourself to something different! Bubble Chocolate is giving 5 readers the chance to try this newest taste sensation sweeping the country! One thing I learned was that they are based in Salem, MA
Hmm. I don't like how they list their nutritional facts based upon two servings of 1.4 ounces each per bar. That's deceptive - who wouldn't eat the entire bar? They're small bars.
I learned that they can be bought by the case online!
