All Aboard!

I watch what my oldest watches, and when my youngest begins watching television, I suppose not much will change. There may be more fights over the remote control, but I am betting as long as the dinosaur train keeps pulling out of the station for educational adventures, we will all be happy! The storyline is brilliant and the cast of characters are simply endearing. Logan has had a life-long love of dinosaurs. He has dinosaur shirts, toys, coloring books, and he always collects dinosaur souvenirs when we go to museums that feature what's left! He loves anything dinosaur! I don't. I like them, but I'm not really into them. Or at least that's what I would've told you before watching my first episode of DINOSAUR TRAIN! Dinosaur Train happens to be a part of our favorite station, PBS Kids!
Dinosaur Train is a clever series that uses a preschoolers fascination with dinosaurs and trains to learn basic scientific thinking and skills. You will learn about natural science, natural history and paleontology. The mastermind behind the series is creator Craig Bartlett (Hey Arnold!). Buddy, a preschool-aged Tyrannosaurus Rex, lives with his family. Only his family looks very different! Seems there was a mix-up and now Buddy and his adoptive family of Pteranodons ride the Dinosaur Train to meet all kinds of dinosaurs in different eras and learn fascinating new facts about these incredible creatures. Explore prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans with the family! The whimsical tales and adventures are based on input from paleontologists, science educators and early childhood education experts. Hop on board and see where they will take you next! There is something new to learn with each episode. If you crave even more Dinosaur Train, visit the site! Parents and Teachers can learn how to maximize the learning potential with activities and lesson plans. Children can play games or check out the Field Guide! Watch Dinosaur Train on PBS Kids!
