Never Forget

I will never forget that tragic day
When our world seemed to collapse, in the most horrific way
Rising from the ashes, our innocence lost
We discovered the price of freedom,
And we are still paying the ultimate cost.


I watched the day unfold on television. I have never felt such emotion. I cried for our lost, and I cried for the living. I prayed for my friend (now my husband) and his family, knowing they were not far away. I will never forget.

Praying for those lost, and for our soldiers and their families.
