I am blogging for PEANUTS! The new PEANUTS Collection from New Balance, that is! Sam and Logan received their very own pair of New Balance Shoes celebrating It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown just in time for Halloween! Charlie Brown and his memorable gang have been a traditional part of families for years. As a child, I celebrated every Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas with these lovable characters, marking my calendar by their television specials and appearances. With PEANUTS approaching their 60th anniversary in 2010, celebrate the occasion early with this adorable children's footwear!

Available October 2009 in infant, pre-school and grade school sizes, this collection brings some of PEANUTS’ most popular stories to life. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas are timeless classics, and New Balance captures the essence of each. Each shoe is constructed with premium materials for ultimate comfort and breathability and features EVA cushioning in the midsole and heel and a solid rubber outsole for support and durability. Fun PEANUTS character detailing elements include an extremely soft tongue lining, vibrant colors, eye-catching embroidery and embossing on the upper.

I wanted a perfect fit, so I downloaded a size chart. When the shoes arrived, they fit my children perfectly. Logan told me the shoes were very comfortable and he played in them all day without any later regrets. Dirt from his outside adventures brushed off with ease. Sam doesn't talk much, at least not yet, but he obviously loved his new shoes because they captured his attention for hours. It was his first experience with PEANUTS and New Balance.
