A Scottish Treasure

I have travelled the internet world, always on the lookout for something different and unique. I recently made a stop in Scotland. Oh, my ancestors would be proud! While I was there I discovered Hinnigan, which is based in the Scottish Borders market Town of Selkirk. We received the Pixie Dot Baby Blanket pictured above. It is woven in Scotland from 100% Merino Lambswool. Anyone that reads my blog knows that I adore natural fibers. Your baby will maintain a comfortable temperature wrapped in this Scottish blanket. This exquisite woven blanket is perfect for pampering any new baby boy or girl.
This blanket is a bit thicker than I expected and the colors are very soothing. While I am certainly no expert on the fine art of weaving, this blanket is an heirloom quality treasure that will last generations to come. They offer several baby blanket designs and I would have a hard time picking just one. They arrive in a beautiful white gift box, tied with a ribbon, ready for giving! With reasonable prices, you may be tempted to buy at least two! I'm sure those moms and moms-to-be on your list could use a bit of pampering. I could, so I am putting the Glentress Blanket on my Christmas list!
"The distinctive Hinnigan style is the work of fabric designer Brian Hinnigan and has been inspirational to fashion houses Bill Blass, Paul Costelloe, Ann-Louise Roswald, Eley Kishimoto, Agnes B, Pringle, Matthew Williamson and others. Hinnigan’s export markets include Japan, Korea, Europe and North America." If you are lucky enough to visit Scotland, drop in and say hi! For everyone else, fine Scottish woven wool blankets are only a click away!
