Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista

We just returned from the most amazing trip to Orlando. Our first night, we stayed at Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista. It's geared towards families and it has just about everything imaginable to keep your children happy. After spending a day at a theme park (they offer complimentary shuttles!), your children can hit the arcade, pools or Ozzie's Splash Zone and you can take in the tranquil surroundings and relax!
There's even a playground for the little ones! It's the perfect place to spend those last few minutes while dad is loading up the car for the return trip home! We found  the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista easy to get to. We used GPS and found it right away. When I checked in, I noticed a clean reception area. Just around the corner, I found a gift shop, Lite Bite Mini-Market and Deli, Comfort Zone Bar and Grille, and also the Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant! Kids eat free, so take advantage if you are looking to stretch your dollar!
The Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista is close to all the major theme parks and dining. They offer 24 hour uniformed security and free parking. Speaking of parking, there are plenty of parking spaces so you don't have to worry about spending all day at the parks and coming back to a full parking lot. We experienced this later in our trip and it wasn't fun. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and welcoming after a full day of fun!
Our room featured two full beds. The sheets were smooth and soft and the mattresses were firm (oh, thank you!) but soft. I awoke the next morning refreshed and ready to go again! I took two pictures below. One showed the two beds after Sam rolled across them first (he is our unofficial bed tester), but didn't capture the true colors, so I took another picture to post. I liked the richness of the colors against the rich cherry wood! So beautiful!
The vanity had a sliding door so you could use it as a dressing area after bathing. It's also the greatest set up for families because it allowed us all to get ready more quickly instead of setting our alarm clock so early. When I went to sleep, I was so exhausted, I really didn't hear any noise, but around 3am, my youngest let out a random scream (I think he awoke and couldn't remember where he was) and I began to notice the noise. We were on the side facing the highway (even though it was mostly hidden by gorgeous landscaping) and I had a hard time being lulled back to sleep by the roar of the traffic. If you are from a rural area, request a room away from the highway. My husband (he's from the city) never stirred and it didn't bother him.
There is a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker in the room so bring your drinks and microwave popcorn (and cocoa!) and watch an in-room pay-per-view movie! They offer cable and free premium Disney and movie channels too. It's a great way to wind down after a busy day! The vanity features a hair dryer so you can pack lighter and leave yours at home. We found the room to be clean. When I stay in a hotel, I check the bathroom before I unpack. It quickly passed my inspection and as far as being safe, I found nothing for Sam, my youngest, to get into. There were no balconies and the only door had a safety latch to keep him in! Sam keeps us on our toes and we pay more attention to the little things to keep him safe!
The staff was friendly and welcomed us during our stay. I would definitely stay here again. It was beautiful inside and out. Free WiFi and an electronic safe are great for business travelers. The desk and comfortable chair offer a comfortable place to get connected! The Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista is great for those on a budget that want to experience more of a posh hotel experience. From the mattress to the linens and towels, you will feel a touch of the royal treatment that Rosen Hotels and Resorts offers it's guests!  If you are planning your Orlando or Kissimmee getaway, check them out!
