I received the set, which includes a comforter, bedskirt and shams. Window treatments and decorative pillows are sold separately. The set is made of Embroidered Faux Silk and it's dry clean only. It's a Belk exclusive and it's imported. The soft gray blues in this delicately embroidered bed ensemble are inspired by the Old English room in the Biltmore House. Blue upholstered Jacobean style furniture was the inspiration for this blue color way. On display in the Old English room are several family portraits. Above the oak chest is a portrait of William Cecils grandchildren William and Frances painted in 1599 by the Italian artist Frederico Zuccaro (1543-1609).
This material is wonderful and the wrinkles (what few there were) fell out quickly. The comforter isn't heavy and it feels good on my skin. It's smooth, except for the embroidery. The raised flowers are velvety and they really add to the richness of the fabric. The ivory, gold, and blue colors in the flowers will give me plenty of decorating options!
This set isn't too girlie, even though it's covered with flowers. My husband, who's anti-floral, appreciated the luxurious look and feel of the bedding. Visit Belk and check out their Biltmore Collection! They have everything from bedding and towels to Christmas ornaments and cookware! Their products are great for giving and even bettter for receiving!
Disclosure: I was sent a bedding set in order to complete this review. No monetary compensation received.
