The Gifts That Save!

Guess what I did!!?? I cut Logan's hair! And it actually looks good! I say good because I need a little more practice. About two years ago, I got the bright idea to save some money, and I took a set of clippers to Logan's head. It looked worse than the time Logan's Grandpa took the flowbee to his hair and vacuumed off his top. Yikes! I vowed never again to touch his hair. A few weeks ago, I was contacted to see if I would be interested in clippers for the guys in my house. I was hesitant, but I decided to give it a try. My husband received a grown up version, and I received Kids Hair Clippers for my kids! Logan usually gets his hair cut at a salon. He does fine until the clippers come out! He hates the annoying buzz almost as much as he hates the itchy hair it leaves behind! Here are the features!Corded and cordless useIncludes scissors, cape, pouchSkin friendlyMaintenance-freePowerful Lithium-Ion batteryInstruction DVDUltra silentThe set includes a comb too! I watched the helpful DVD and charged the clippers. Then I draped the cape around Logan. I slid the guides over the clippers and turned them on. Before I knew it, hair was flying and I was looking like a pro! I was very nervous. I made a mistake too! I removed the guide to "touch up" a spot. Mistake on my part, but it wasn't too bad! I used the longer guide for the top of Logan's hair because his is longer on top. The sides and back were buzzed pretty short. I could not believe how silent these were! And they did not annoy him like grown up clippers do! The Kids Hair Clipper is easy to hold and easy to use. I will say this. Be patient, make sure you have plenty of time, and go slow! It is easy to get caught up in the buzz, and since these clippers are so fun to use, it's best to stay focused to avoid careless mistakes. I made a few mistakes, but they were all tiny and hardly impacted the outcome. But, these mistakes could have been avoided! At under $40, these are a great value! I am going to be using these from now on and I will be posting videos and photos in upcoming posts. Stay tuned!
For the men in your life, check out the Hair Clipper from Philips! These clippers were sent for my husband to try! He used them without any help from me, and he loved the way they handled! The clippers are around $40, and they would make an ideal gift! The Philips Norelco 180 Degree Clipper has a head that rotates for easy at-home hair cuts, so even in the hard to reach places around the neck and ears are no problem! You can customize hair length with 10 adjustable length settings and 2 combs, for an even buzz cut or just taking a little off the top!
Features:
Cut your hair even in hard to reach areas
180-degree pivoting head allows an even cut all over the head, even in spots you can't see
Special grip makes self-hair cutting easier
Precision trimmer attachments for easy contouring, finishing and touch ups after the cut
Easy maintenance; self sharpening blades need no oil or other care
My husband was in desperate need of a hair cut when he used these. He was able to select the length he wanted on the guides and simply guide it over his hair. He likes his sides and back buzzed pretty short, and these clippers helped him accomplish that look with ease. He needed no help from me, he used an extra mirror to get the back of his head straight while using the clippers. My husband usually goes to the salon with me to get my hair cut. After using these clippers, he told me that he will be using them from now on to cut his hair at home! We have had other clippers in the past, and one year for Christmas, I bought him an expensive set. These worked just as well as those expensive hair clippers did, and they were a little easier to hold! Check them out! This is the gift that keeps on giving, and it saves you money too!
To Disclose: Clippers were received in exchange for this review. I received no financial compensation and these are my honest opinions!
