Plow & Hearth Giveaway!

 Recently, I received a Saf-T Grate for my fireplace. I used a regular grate for two years and it was literally on it's last leg. The other legs had warped from the heat! I wanted a long lasting grate that would not warp and last for more than a few seasons. I think I found the perfect grate! It's heavy! That was a great first impression. My husband put the legs on quickly using two bolts. It's still hot down here in South Georgia and lighting this fire was the last thing we wanted to do. After we did, we noticed  that Saf-T Grate's deep-bed construction keeps the logs in where they belong, so they won't roll forward. The self-feeding design keeps the wood and hot coals together, so our fire burned more efficiently with less smoke and it radiated more heat into the room. Oh my goodness, it really put out the heat!

The small was the perfect size for our fireplace! Our fire (three logs) lasted almost twice as long as similar fires using our old grate, and that's no exaggeration. I only used it once, and I am looking forward to using it when it gets colder! I am also looking forward to saving money on firewood!
