Here is a recipe for Grilled Corn
ReplyDelete4 ears fresh corn, in their husks
Butter (or an herb butter) for serving
1 Prepare your grill, gas or charcoal, with direct, high heat, about 550°F.
2 Place the corn in their husks on the hot grill. Cover. Turn the corn occasionally, until the husks are charred on all sides, about 15 to 20 minutes.
3 Remove corn from grill. Let sit for 5 minutes. Use a hand towel to protect your hands while removing the silks and charred husks from the corn.
Serve hot, with butter.

we love to grill up steaks that have been marinated in teriyaki sauce
ReplyDeletekripley81@yahoo.com
My husband does most of the grilling. We usually do steak, chicken, and burgers. I do the side dishes (that's where the true work is, am I right?)
ReplyDeleteWe have made a drunken chicken where you use one whole chicken and place a half can of beer up the rear, close the lid and let it cook. Hubby uses a thermometer until it hits the spot where it says the bird is done.
This is the coolest grill. I sure hope we win. Our old BBQ has seen better days.

One of my fav grill recipes is from Giada. It's grilled fruit. I like to use bananas (halved lengthwise), peaches (sliced), nectarines (sliced), pineapple rings, etc. You coat the fruit with white sugar in a bowl & grill over med heat 3-4 min on each side, til you get a golden crust. In a bowl you'll need to mix 3 TBSP of simple syrup (sugar & water; brought to a boil, then simmer til sugar dissolves), juice of 1 lemon, and 1/4 C chopped fresh mint leaves & fresh blueberries. Drizzle over grilled fruit and enjoy!
