I feel really good when I am able to purchase a gift that helps another person. When I was contacted by World Vision, I looked at their site for the first time. I really liked what I saw. You can buy gifts of animals, water, and help. You can also purchase from World Vision's Gift Catalog and treat yourself (or others) and help a person or community in need. With each gift purchase, you fund their Maximum Impact Fund, which provides for the unique needs of children and families worldwide. I received an artisan multi-colored necklace. My gift was created to fight human trafficking. My beautiful semi-precious stone and glass bead necklace can be worn as a colorful strand long or short, as a bracelet or even a belt. It is approximately 48" long. Each is unique - size and color may vary slightly. It's really beautiful and it goes with so many things! It's a tax deductable purchase and it helps a wonderful cause.World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.Working in nearly 100 countries around the world, World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
