For those looking to surprise your children, this set is shipped in a brown box, without pictures. They'll never know what's in the box unless they're very sneaky!! After I removed the train from the packaging, I stared in awe at the set. It is so realistic! It's also larger than I imagined! I know, the size is clearly marked on the website. Still, it is quiet impressive in person! The track itself measures over 8'x2" x 4'3" in diameter and it is an oval configuration. It is perfect for surrounding the base of your Christmas Tree! Set up is easy and all the parts were packaged with care. The sounds are realistic and I loved the working lights! It even comes with an engineer and a fireman! (not the same as a firefighter!) If you are looking for a perfect train set, look no further. Bachmann has a reputation for building the best trains. Bass Pro Shops has a reputation for making dreams come true!
